What are session cookies?
Session cookies are temporary cookies that keep track of user’s browsing sessions. They allow website users to move between different pages and features on a site without having to log in or register each time they visit.
Session cookies expire when users close their browser window or tab, so these cookies don’t store any information about users that could be used to identify them personally.
There are two types of session cookies: first-party and third-party. First-party session cookies are set by the website, while third-party session cookies are set by a different domain other than the domain users are currently visiting.
