What is UK GDPR?

The UK GDPR is modeled after the EU’s GDPR, and it applies to organizations operating within the UK as well as those outside the UK that offer goods or services to individuals in the UK. It is used in conjunction with the Data Protection Act 1998, which was amended to align with the new regulations after Brexit. It gives individuals more control over their personal data and how it is used by organizations, and it also strengthens the rights and freedom of individuals with regard to their personal data.
