What is a cookie wall?

A cookie wall is a method websites use to deny access to their content until a user agrees with the use of cookies. When a user visits a website with a cookie wall, they are asked to agree to the use of cookies. If they decline, the website denies them access to its content.

This practice is generally not recommended by privacy laws like GDPR as they restrict users from choosing whether or not to accept cookies. Users may feel pressured to accept cookies, even if they do not fully understand the implications.
